Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first page you see after signing in. It has a fixed layout with four widget rows stacked top to bottom; you can’t rearrange or hide sections.

Getting started checklist

Until you complete three setup steps, the topmost card shows an incomplete checklist:

  1. Set a goal — links to the goal onboarding wizard.
  2. Set up paycheck — links to the paycheck template.
  3. Create your first allocation — resolved once any non-goal pocket exists.

Once all three are done, the checklist disappears permanently unless you click Show getting started. You can also dismiss it early with Dismiss.

Goal card

If you have at least one goal pocket, the second row shows the first goal found with:

  • Goal name and the account it lives in.
  • Saved amount against target: “Saved X of Y”.
  • Target date and recommended monthly savings, if a target date has been configured (this feature is still being developed and is not yet available in the UI).
  • A Set up paycheck link that lets you wire your next paycheck allocation to the goal.

Stat rows

Two rows of statistics follow:

  • Net Worth (with a “Live” badge), Assets, Liabilities — converted to your primary currency via FX rates. The live badge means values come directly from your local database with no delay.
  • Cash (“Checking & cash accounts” — Checking Account, Cash Wallet, Petty Cash subtypes) and Savings (“All other assets”).

There are no income or expense figures, spending pie charts, or cash-flow bars on the Dashboard. Those appear only on the Reports page.

Net worth trend chart

A line chart captioned “Last 6 months” plots your net worth over time. The chart fills automatically as you add transactions. If there is no data yet, it shows a placeholder message. The net worth trend values past positions at today’s exchange rates — it answers “what would this be worth today?”, so the line can move on days you entered nothing.

Starred accounts and pockets

The bottom row displays two panels side by side:

  • Starred accounts — accounts you flagged on the Accounts page.
  • Starred pockets — individual pockets you flagged inside accounts.

To add items here, go to Accounts and click the star icon on any account or pocket.

Tip

Star the accounts and pockets you check most often — for example your main current account and your emergency fund pocket — so they appear on the Dashboard without navigating to Accounts.
